Commission Actions
The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) has concluded its February 10, 2026, Commission meeting. By action of the Commission, the institutions noted below have received the following:
Initial Accreditation granted:
- Ascend Massage Academy (Butte, MT) – Institutional Accreditation –
625-hour Massage Therapy Program
- Copper Tree Retreat School of Massage (Longview, TX – Institutional Accreditation
500-hour Massage Therapy Program
- Elite Massage Academy (Fargo, ND) – Institutional Accreditation
1100-hour Massage Therapy Program
- Hyphen School Orlando (Winter Park, FL) – Institutional Accreditation
600-hour Massage Therapy Program
600-hour Full Specialist Program
1200-hour Esthetics/Cosmetology Program
Renewal of Accreditation granted:
- St. Louis Med Tech (St. Louis, MO) – Institutional Accreditation –

New Program Approval:

Congratulations COMTA school members!!
The Commission accepted the voluntary surrender of accreditation for Full Circle School (Aurora, CO), effective February 19, 2026.
The Commission also accepted the voluntary surrender of accreditation and transition to COMTA-Endorsed Curriculum approval for Ahh Spa Academy (Evansville, IN), effective February 24, 2026, and for Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy (Pittsburgh, PA), effective February 23, 2026.
