COMTA SCHOOLS TO BE CONSIDERED, JANUARY 2015

The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) has prepared and published a list of the schools and programs to be considered for the January 28 – 30, 2015 Commission Meeting. The schools and programs up for consideration are being reviewed for initial or renewal accreditation. In addition, there will be a follow-up review for a school that was due for renewal at the October 2014 meeting, but was deferred. Please note all renewal schools and programs under the deferral status per the COMTA policies and procedures are still considered accredited.
Accredited institutions, state agencies, the general public and other interested parties are invited to submit written comments pertaining to any school or program included on the Commission’s list. Comments should include information that will assist the Commission in making a decision regarding the accreditation action pending for a school or program. Any comments received will be forwarded to the school, which will then have an opportunity to submit a response to those comments.
Please submit written comments no later than January 26, 2015 to the Commission Chair: chair@comta.org (No anonymous comments please).
Be sure to check the COMTA website regularly for actions and alerts. The Commission updates all pertinent actions and alerts on its website. Please promptly inform COMTA if your school/program has any new contact information.
