The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation has received notification that SOLEX Medical Academy in Chicago, Illinois has lost state approval and thus officially ceased operations. Therefore, the Commission considers the school’s accreditation voluntarily withdrawn as of June 1, 2017. The school has not enrolled students since August 2015 but under COMTA Policy & Procedure maintained compliance with its accreditation until April 2017 when it was placed on Show Cause pending evidence of current state approval.
