The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) wishes to announce the resignation of Commissioner Ed Bolden and thank him for his dutiful service.
Mr. Bolden has served in the Regulator position since January 2015. Though he was with the Commission only a short time, his contributions were valuable and much appreciated. He was instrumental in the development of the new COMTA Endorsed Curriculum status, serving on the Advisory Group.
Mr. Bolden has accepted a position on the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) and is stepping down from the Commission to avoid any conflicts of interest.
The Commission and staff congratulate him on his appointment, wish him well in his continuous service of the massage therapy community, and thank him for his work with COMTA.
