The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) would like to bring your attention to the following announcements discussed at the October 16 -18, 2013 meeting:
1) New Esthetics Educator Commissioner – The Commission is pleased to announce that Ms. Cristina DeBoer has filled the position of the new Esthetics Educator Commissioner. Her term will begin March 2014 and end with the spring meeting in 2018. To review her bio, please visit our website here.
2) COMTA Proposed Standards Revisions – On behalf of the Standards Review Committee and the Executive Director, the Commission would like to invite you to participate in our Call for Comment on the Proposed Standards Revisions. The proposed revisions and the surveys related to the Call for Comment can be reviewed on our website here.
Be sure to check the COMTA website regularly for actions and alerts. The Commission updates all pertinent actions and alerts on its website. Please promptly inform COMTA if your school/program has any new contact information.
