Commission Actions
The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) has concluded its October 17 & 24, 2022 Commission meeting. By action of the Commission, schools noted below have received the following:
Initial Accreditation Granted:
- Arlington School of Massage (Arlington, WA) – Institutional – October 2022 – October 2029
- Central Texas College – Therapeutic Massage Program (Killeen, TX) – Programmatic – October 2022 – October 2029
Approval Granted:
- Arizona School of Integrative Studies – (Mesa, AZ [main]) – addition of Distance Education to 800-hour therapeutic massage program
- California College of Physical Arts – Calcopa, Inc. (Huntington Beach, CA) – addition of 1,000-hour Holistic Health Practitioner Program
