Commission Actions
The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) has concluded its October 18, 2023 Commission meeting. By action of the Commission, the institutions noted below have received the following:
Renewal of Institutional Accreditation granted:
- Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (Colorado Springs, CO) – 750-hour Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Certificate Program
- Rexburg College of Massage Therapy (Rexburg, ID) – 625-hour Massage Therapy Certificate Program
Initial Institutional Accreditation granted:
- Lincoln Academy of Massage and Bodyworks (Lincoln, NE) – 1000-hour Massage Therapy Certificate Program
Approval to Add Distance Education granted:
- Elgin Community College (Elgin, IL) – 744-hour/40-credit Massage Therapy Program
